The Great Escape

Rory made his escape yesterday.  He went through the back fence and into the woods.  My neighbors helped me retrieve him. He will have to be confined to his long check cord. We plan to recheck the fence openings and buy a stronger and longer check cord.

I thought his time playing with Chelsea would deter him from wandering.  Wandering is more important than playing at this time.

He had his Vet appointment yesterday. She said it is time for him to be neutered. We will do that the first of the year.  When we asked what breed he was, the Vet said shepherd, golden and irish setter mix.

He will be spending quality time indoors with his family.

I can't wait until the first snow fall so he can enjoy it.
